The UREP is involved in the PASTORALP European project (type LIFE ), coordinated by the University of Florence (Italy). This project proposes to implement climate change adaptation measures to reduce the vulnerability of alpine pastures.
The "Unité Mixte de Recherche sur l'Ecosystème Prairial" (UREP) studies the agroecology of the prairial ecosystem in a context of global change, including climate change and management practices. The unit has international expertise in the fields of carbon and nitrogen cycles (greenhouse gas balance and carbon sequestration), plant community assembly, biotic interactions (plant-soil-animal) ) and their consequences on the functioning of the grasslands. https://www6.ara.inra.fr/urep/
